Oracle developer

An Oracle developer is required, to join a leading software house,
which are an industry specialist and currently investing heavily in
developing the business.
Job Description
* Responsible for full lifecycle development of in house developed
application. including conception, design, development, testing,
deployment, and maintenance. Design, size and install tables within
context of the database and the platform on which it operates.
Develop interfaces of Oracle forms applications with other external
and custom applications. Reporting development using Oracle Reports,
Discoverer, and XML Publisher. Write SQL/PLSQL code for table
maintenance and replication; Advise with primary database users
to determine modifications, adjustments needed, and to resolve problems.

Responsible for managing source code based on process determined by
Application Team Management Develop and maintain structure documentation
and patch logs; formulate and enforce standards for data management.
Tune the database and applications. Provide training and mentoring to staff.
Attend and participate in professional training annually to stay informed on the
latest changes and enhancements to Oracle development tools and technology
Perform duties in accordance with the client Operating Principles; work and act
as a team player in interactions with other employees; and provide a high level
of customer service at all times.The candidate for this position shall have:
Three years experience with Oracle developer tools, both forms and reports, as
a technical developer.
* Must have expert knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Application Server, Oracle
Designer and other components of the Oracle technology stack.
* Must have experience with full life cycle project development.
* Must be familiar with the following software development languages and tools:
HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, .NET.
